Pla del Castell I y II

"Pla del Castell I" es una casa levantada sobre las ruinas del castillo de Albarca, a 820 m de altitud, en el pintoresco pueblo de Albarca, conocido por ser el más pequeño de Cataluña con capacidad para 8-12 plazas. Dispone de un anexo "Pla del Castell II" con capacidad para 4 personas máximo, en lo que fue el pajar de la casa. Se pueden alquilar juntas o separadas, con un total de 14 plazas. Las casas disponen de todas las comodidades para pasar un agradable fin de semana en contacto con la naturaleza. Calefacción, chimenea de leña en el comedor, patio con barbacoa y muebles, jardín con mirador privado, terraza-solarium con vistas a la montaña.
Estamos en la comarca del Priorat, conocida por sus excelentes vinos con denominación de origen. Las bodegas de la zona ofrecen degustaciones y visitas gruiadas a sus instalaciones.
Estamos en pleno Parque Natural del Montsant. Desde aquí se pueden hacer muchas excursiones de senderismo, rutas a caballo, 4x4, parapente y vuelos biplaza, baños en las balsas de los ríos, canoas, visitas a los monasterios de Poblet y Escaladei. Estamos cerca de las playas de Salou y Cambrils y de Port Aventura.

"Pla del Castell I" has a maximum capacity for 8-12. There are 4 bedrooms, one of the has an individual bed, 2 of them have double beds and the other has space for three. There are another 2 extra beds (one can be allocated in the big beroom) and a sofa which
converts into a bed for 2. There are 2 bathrooms, one yard with BBQ, a terrace with mountain views. The house is completely surrounded by garden area.

"Pla del Castell II" has a maximum capacity for 4. There is a bedroom with double bed and another bedroom connected to the longe in another height, where there is another double bed only for sleeping. In the lounge also there is a sofa which converts into a bed for
2. There is a bathroom, and yard where you can see the mountain equiped with garden furniture. The house is equiped with heaters in all the rooms, and a fuel wood stove in the lounge, totally equiped with sheets, blankets, towels and kitchen utensils.

The houses are in the beautifull village of Albarca, at 820 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Natural Park of the Montsnat. From here you can make many excursions by foot or car, very easy to do. From the town there are many paths which take you to the
hermitages of the area, recommended to visit and also to other picturesque views. You can also visit the lake of Siurana where you may bathe and hire canoes and also visit the rivers of the area where natural ponds form and also swim or spend the day. All the towns in the area have public swimming pools where there are always activities going on for the whole family. There are also horse back riding, 44, biplaza flights, parapente and quads, all these activities if you wish we can inform you upon arrival jand of the many guided excursions suitable for the whole family.
If you are more interested in cultural activities, we are very close to the Poblet Monastry and the "Ruta del Cister" It's also very interesting to visit the "Cartoixa d'Escaladei". We are in an area famous for it's excelent wines with "denominación de origen Priorat" where the wine salones, (wine manufacturers) offer guided tours and wine tastings.
